Cookies & SDKs
We use cookies and SDKs to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and improve features. You will find more detail in "Cookies and analytics" below.
No patient data, please.
Fellowed is an education service. Do not upload identifiable patient or health information to our platform.
Why we collect it
- Provide the service: manage accounts, mock exams, study analytics, and support.
- Improve and secure: troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, measure performance, and develop new features.
- Payments and billing: process transactions, prevent fraud, and manage institutional billing.
- Communications: send essential service notices, support replies, and product updates. You can opt out of non-essential marketing.
- Research and insights: produce aggregated, de-identified statistics to understand learning trends and enhance Fellowed. We may publish or commercialise these insights, and we will not attempt to re-identify you.
If we ever need to use personal information for a materially different purpose, we will ask first unless the law allows otherwise.
When we share information
We share personal information only when needed, including with:
- Service providers such as cloud hosting, analytics, payment processors, email delivery, and customer support tools.
- Institutions that provide your access. Hospitals, universities, or other partners may receive basic usage and licensing data for billing, compliance, and support.
- Compliance and safety when required by law or to prevent fraud, security issues, or misuse.
We never sell personal information.
Cookies and analytics
We rely on cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and analyse how people use Fellowed. You are free to control cookies in your browser, but some features may not work without them. We will provide choices for non-essential cookies where required.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and backups. No system is perfect. If a data breach likely to cause serious harm occurs, we will notify affected users and regulators as required by law.
Storage, location, and retention
Personal information is stored in Australia with reputable cloud providers. Some partners may process limited information from other countries to help us operate Fellowed. When that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles, including appropriate safeguards and contracts.
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or to meet legal obligations. After that, we delete or de-identify it.
Your choices and rights
- Access & correction: view and update most information in your account, or contact us for assistance.
- Export: request a reasonable export of your study data while your account is active.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your personal information. We will delete or de-identify it, subject to legal retention and routine backup cycles.
- Marketing: unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.
We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We may update this policy for legal or operational reasons. When we do, we will post the new version with an updated date. For material changes we will provide reasonable notice. Continuing to use Fellowed after changes take effect means you agree to the updated policy.
