The classic THRIVE score is the sum of age, NIHSS and chronic disease points.

Let CDS be the count of hypertension, diabetes and atrial fibrillation. CDS1, CDS2 and CDS3 are indicator variables for CDS = 1, 2 or 3 respectively.

If LVO is not present or is unknown, THRIVE-c uses:

x = 4.942 - 0.035 x age - 0.190 x NIHSS - 0.105 x CDS1 - 0.408 x CDS2 - 0.702 x CDS3

If LVO is present and ASPECTS is unknown, THRIVE-EVT uses:

x = 2.864 - 0.025 x age - 0.106 x NIHSS - 0.469 x CDS1 - 0.502 x CDS2 - 1.665 x CDS3 + 0.753 x EVT

If LVO is present and ASPECTS is known, THRIVE-EVT uses:

x = 1.828 - 0.031 x age - 0.097 x NIHSS - 0.462 x CDS1 - 0.419 x CDS2 - 1.798 x CDS3 + 0.848 x EVT + 0.153 x ASPECTS

Good-outcome probability is 100 x 1 / (1 + e^-x), where good outcome is mRS 0 to 2 at 90 days.
